APPLICATION
These cables refer to Twin and Earth or Flat Twin and Earth
Cables with a rated voltage of 300/500V. These cables used in
fixed wiring installations in dry or damp premises clipped to
surface, on trays, or in free air where there is no risk of
mechanical damage. It is suitable for laying in conduit or
trunking where mechanical protection is required. Twin and
Earth cable is a general fixed wiring and lighting cable,
containing three conductors. As the name suggests, there is a
pair of Twin current-carrying conductors, both individually
insulated, and one bare conductor which is the central
protective circuit on earth.
CONSTRUCTION
- Conductor: Solid Class 1 or Stranded Class 2 Copper
as per IEC 60228 - Insulation: PVC insulation material
- Outer Sheath: PVC Outer sheath material
